Why we do ministry:

• Spiritual need – 1.3 billion people, 1/5 of the world’s population, most don’t know Jesus
• Strategic – China can impact the world, Chinese Christians want to help others know Jesus
• Divine Opportunity – 150,000 Chinese studying in our universities.
• Urgent – How long will the opportunity be here? How long will they seek the truth?

How we do ministry:

1. Building Relationships  交流
   
   
   • We invite students to co-workers’ home. 邀请学生来家中
   • We have dinner at our home. 来家里一块吃饭
   • Go apple picking. 摘苹果
   • Go camping. 野营
   • Go picnic. 野餐
   • Go outing. 远足
   • Go ski. 滑雪
   • Go sightseeing (at Philly). 游费城
     
     
2. Sharing Christ with them
   
   
   • Friday Night Fellowship 周五查经 慕道班
   • We invite students to Sunday worship. 邀请学生到教会
   • We join special church events. 参加教会活动
   • Visiting them in their homes 家庭探访
   • Taking them to Evangelistic Retreats 参加布道会
     
     
3. Helping Them Grow as Believers
   
   
   • Friday Night Fellowship  周五查经 门徒班
   • Some are baptized. 有人受洗
   • Discipling them. 门徒训练
   • Taking them to discipleship retreat 参加退休会

GWCBS

George Washington Chinese Bible Study

We serve Chinese students and scholars from 我们服事华人学生和学者，他们来自：

• George Washington University, as well as
• Georgetown University,
• American University, and
• Johns Hopkins University (The Washington DC Center).

Our coworkers come from different local churches.  Many are GWU alumni.我们的同工来自于不同的教会，其中许多人是 GWU 的校友。

We meet every Friday night at Cherrydale Baptist Church, Arlington.
