January, 2009

* 01/02 Sat, GWCBS invited Pastor Jonathan Chiu as special speaker; three students accepted Jesus.
* 01/24 Sat, around 10 students from GWCBS attended the Chinese New Year program of NVCBC.
* 01/30 Fri, GWCBS held the Chinese New Year special program; Pastor David Chen was invited as the special speaker.

* 02/01 Sun, Sister Xiao and Zhao from GWCBS were baptized in CFC.
* 02/14 Sat, a special activity for Valentine's Day at Tai-li's house; group games in the afternoon, outdoor pool in the evening
* 02/21 Sat, skip at Whitetail resort, a group of 11

* 03/14 Sat, trip to Philly, a group of 15 from GWCBS joined to Grace Fellowship of UM

April, 2009

* 04/05 Sun, Brother Zhuang and Sister Liu from GWCBS were baptized in CFC.

* 05/22 Fri - 05/25 Mon, ISI Conference at Buffalo, NY; 18 people including 13 scholars and students

* 07/26 Sun - 4 students baptized at lake, Camp Highroad near Middleburg, VA; Zhu, Wang, Wang, Tao

* 08/10 Mon, more new students coming; since 07/15 we started to pick up students, after 08/10 it turned busy to help students to settle down

* 09/04 Fri -09/07 Mon, COM retreat at Summer's Best Two Weeks in Boswell, PA; 18 people including 11 students
* 09/11 Fri, Welcome party of GWCBS; 170* people including 100* students (* the estimate numbers)
* 09/20 Sun, James Chen (GWU) and Yvonne Huang were baptized at Calvery Lutheran Church, Arlington, VA
* 09/27 Sun, Dang and Qing (GU) were baptized at Northern Virginia Chinese Baptist Church (NVCBC), Fairfax, VA

* 10/03 Sat, NVCBC Moon Festival event; about 35 students came.
* 10/04 Sun, Gu, Yang, and Sun three students were baptized at Christian Fellowship Church, Ashburn, VA; 20 students attended

* 10/11 Sun, apple pick at Home-Stead Farm, MD; three students and one scholar joined.
* 10/25 Sun, fall outing at regional parks (Northern Virginia, and Algonkian); three scholars and 11 students joined.
* 10/26-30 Mon-Fri, Priscilla attended COM training conference.

* 11/7 Sat, fall outing at Prince William Forest Park, VA; one scholar and 24 students joined.
* 11/15 Sun, Priscilla attended COM colleague Simon's ordination.
